I don't know if I could...that's a great list Amie. I don't know if I could ever do such a thorough job. I love your U2 album. Makes me miss Wilmore...the stone house. Good times. That was a great album, and it's not always just the music, but it's the memories attached to the music. I love all their albums, but like you, I'd probably say that's my favorite bc of the sweet memories attached to it. did you go to the concert in Lex? Can I come to Ireland with you this summer?Jillnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5570380629262255355.post-4677355747871266812009-03-27T14:37:00.000+00:002009-03-27T14:37:00.000+00:00which smitty tour? hmm... it was in high school, t...which smitty tour? hmm... it was in high school, that much i remember. i'm trying to remember. Must have been the 1991 tour. Is that the same one you went to?

ah, mp3 files - i'll have to let you know. thanks for the offer. i know i got some music from you while i was there, but it was mostly music i already knew but didn't own. maybe just send some of your favorites...

i'll start thinking about my list. i can tell you i won't have such profound reasons for most of them. but we'll see what happens.Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11980558273968265577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5570380629262255355.post-20856084318491436092009-03-25T14:02:00.000+00:002009-03-25T14:02:00.000+00:00barb, barb, barb, what am i going to do about you?...barb, barb, barb, what am i going to do about you? send you lots of mp3 files, i guess. ;)

which smitty tour? they opened for him at least twice, on picture perfect and... maybe go west young man before that? i don't remember. but they shortly were on their own, with audio adrenaline opening for them. ahhhhh... good times. =D

that garth. he's an evangelist. ;)

it took me nearly a month to get mine narrowed down and reasoned out, so take your time. i would love to read it, though, if you do a list. and i am glad to send you any of this that you might be interested in hearing....Amie Vhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16575635765018764228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5570380629262255355.post-69543406249265223732009-03-25T13:57:00.000+00:002009-03-25T13:57:00.000+00:00What's sad is that I've never listened to most of ...What's sad is that I've never listened to most of these - I know, I know, you're shocked and don't know if we can be friends anymore.

However, I did see Smitty in that same concert tour with DC Talk opening for him, not expecting to like DC Talk at all, and was pleasantly surprised. I too love Rich Mullins and (even more) Chris Rice, and Garth's "No Fences" tape also converted me to country music, though it was actually the song "Unanswered Prayers" that did it for me.

Oh, and I'm glad you're not a lesbian. :)

I may try to do a similar post at some point, but I have a hard time fathoming the task of limiting my music to 16 cd's.Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11980558273968265577noreply@blogger.com
