Last week, on a sunny day when I was already on campus, I decided to take advantage of the weather and go for a walk. I was headed to Seaton Park, but to get there I had to pass the Cruickshank Botanic Gardens. A couple of years ago, when Jen and Bubbee were here, we had wandered through-- in January. I had been meaning to go back when everything was in bloom, but I just never had. Until now.
Here are some of my photos from the day...

That's one of my favourite places in Aberdeen - so peaceful!
I'm still bummed that I missed that. And HOW did I miss it? I gues I'll have to make sure to take a stroll through the gardens on my next visit. ;) Great pics!
Definitely much prettier in Spring that winter!
How awesome! The blooms are wonderfully unique and your photos of them!are great too!
WOW. These are gorgeous. What a nice reward for your walk :)
Hi, Amy. Just thinking of you and wondering what you're up to these days. Last summer, you referred to writing your thesis; are you finished with school yet? Hope your summer is going well...
Tag! You're it. I've given you an award. Check it out on my blog.
