Spring's Done Sprung

It's been a weird spring here in blooming times, because of our very long and snowy winter.  So things have not come up in the right order, or they aren't staying around as long as usual, or they are just plain late (and are going to get blown away in winds this weekend, they say).  But I have taken a couple of advantages of pretty afternoons to take some photos around campus and on my way to and from different places (largely along King Street).  And now, to quote Philip Scoffield, 'I'm about to be given the results... *touches forefinger to earpiece*... in no particular order...": 

If I get any other good shots after I post this, I'll just make another post.  Maybe I'll check out Seaton Park on Monday, or Union Square Gardens at some point.  We'll see.  =)

I'm Sensing a Theme...

Oooh, thanks, Aleithia! I love coffee.  But wait a minute... why do I get the 'boozey' one?  What are you saying?

Yes, it's vodka... but it's Birthday Cake Flavour!!

Oooh, Liz!  Thanks!  I love Lush goodies... but hold on a sec.  Are you trying to tell me something?

Oh, c'mon!  It's only one!

But I didn't HAVE all 30...

That's only six.  I can even remember what flavours they are:  strawberry, bakewell tart, pineapple & mango, parma violet, cola cube, and ice cream.  See?  I'm not THAT big a drunk. 

Oh.  Right.  I think the other six were milky bar, cherry, birthday cake, pear drop, lemon & lime, and... um... rhubarb & custard.  Yeah.  That's them.  And it's not like I was drinking alone...

Y'all were there, too. Thanks for suffering through the flavours of vodka shots on my Cinco de Drinko Birthday!   And for the 'themed' gifts.  =D

Aaargh, Mateys!

Liz is on a mission.  Before she turns 30, she's tackling a list of things to do-- from the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything.  She's done a few of them already... but to inspire her on, she had a pirate-themed party. It was great fun-- there was cake and chocolate and pizza and rum and coke and wine and games and babies and friends.  And we all put our costumes together out of just our everyday wardrobes... which is either very cool or very sad.  =D
