I Am One... Are You?

Caring for Your Introvert - Magazine - The Atlantic

This is seriously the most awesome article I've ever read about myself. I laughed out loud a few times, and nodded my head to nearly every point. Preach it, Jonathan!

I'd love to hear what y'all think, introverts and extroverts alike....

I'll have to read the article, but not now, because I'm committed to actually getting some real thesis work done today. Which means I better get out of Blogland and hit the books...

It's taken me years to realize that I am an introvert, and I am A-OK with that, too!

My boss says I'm the most outgoing introvert she's ever met. :) I think that is a good thing, given that I have to be "on" for much of the day.

I think introverts are also given short shrift like night owls, too! (Those extroverted morning people have been stepping on us for much too long!)

I laughed out loud at the statement, "I'm an introvert. You are a wonderful person and I like you. But now please shush." Cracks me up! And something I would have loved to have said to many a roommate in the past. Which is why it's probably good that I live alone. At least now I understand why I have trouble making small talk. But one-on-one conversations? You and I BOTH know that's not an issue! ;)
